Rainy Day Program

Main Street Homes is proud to offer the Rainy Day Program to our buyers!

There are many homebuyers who during their first year of home ownership encounter short-term financial difficulties.  These challenges often lead to early defaults or delinquencies.  Suddenly the dream of homeownership is not as fulfilling as they once thought.

This is where the Rainy Day Foundation comes in to play.  In short, the Rainy Day Program is a safety net for homeowners.  The Rainy Day Foundation provides the following benefits for participants of the Rainy Day Program:

-  During the first 24 months of homeownership, the Rainy Day Foundation will make available an emergency pool of funds to assist homebuyers in keeping current on their mortgage payments.

-  Should the homeowner experience an unexpected emergency, the Rainy Day Program may provide gift funds to be used for the express purpose of making a mortgage payment.

-   Examples of items that will be covered are unexpected medical expenses, unusually high car repair bills, catastrophic events, or other major financial events.

-  The Rainy Day Foundation has a fast, easy process that will help facilitate a request in 48 hours or less.  In most cases, we can have the funds wired to your mortgage lender within 48 hours!

-  Unlike an insurance company, The Rainy Day Foundation has set aside these funds for this purpose.  Our goal is to help people stay in their homes!

-  These funds do not have to be repaid!

Main Street Homes is the only builder in Central Texas to offer this service to their homebuyers!  The Rainy Day Program is just another example of how Main Street Homes offers industry-leading customer service.
